Barry Hankel - Director of Tennis
Barry Hankel, graduated from UW-Green Bay where he played Division 1 tennis. While playing tennis at UW-Green Bay, Barry received three all-conference awards and was named captain of the team for three years. Since college, Barry has moved on to teach tennis full time for the last 12 years. He taught at the Princeton Club in New Berlin for 7 years, while filling many roles such as Junior Program Director, Adult Social Director, and Adult League Coordinator. During that time he also served as the Director at Meadowbrook Country Club in Racine. From there he moved on to Green Bay Tennis Center where he was the Tennis Director for three years and then he switched over to Western Racquet Club in Green Bay where he served as the Junior Director for a year and a half. Barry has had well over a hundred kids qualify for the state tournament during his teaching days and has taught many players that have gone on to play college tennis. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge with all ages and ability levels.
Terry Jones - Adult Director of tennis
Terry was born and raised in Chicago and started playing a number of different sports at a young age. At the age of 16 he took up tennis and quickly developed a love for the game. After High School, Terry got a Tennis Scholarship to Judson University (NAIA). Following his Freshman year he transferred to Concordia University Wisconsin (DIII) where he graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice. During his time there he played tennis and received All-Conference honors in Single and Doubles. While in school and post graduation he was the Director of Operations/Head of Tennis at Camp Menominee in Eagle River, WI. Terry has trained and given lessons to State Qualifiers in Illinois and Arizona. In 2016 Terry returned to his High School Alma Mater (Walther Christian Academy) to become the Head Coach of the Varsity Tennis Team. There he coached his Team to a 3rd Place Conference Finish along with getting his 1st Singles and 1st Doubles Team to the Quarterfinal Round of Sectionals. Terry was also voted Conference Coach of the Year.
