Health coaching takes a holistic view at one's overall health and places importance on bio individuality (what works for you might not work for someone else, and vice versa). Emphasis is placed on not only nutrition and physical activity, but also the many other factors that affect our daily lives such as joy, social life, relationships, home environment, cooking, career, finances, creativity, and spirituality. We'll work on taking action steps each session on improving and balancing these particular areas in addition to deconstructing cravings, utilizing the "crowding out" principle to eat healthier, finding recipes and meal prep tips that work for you, and getting all your questions answered that arise in the aisles at the grocery store (Why should I eat organic? What's the difference between farm-raised and wild caught fish anyways? Should I be counting calories? What should I look for in a food label?)

Kelly Haas- BS, ACSM, CHHC
Kelly earned her degree in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and obtained her certification through the American College of Sports Medicine. She worked for 4 years at a personal training studio in Brookfield and Janesville and began to notice that there was more going on behind the scenes with her clients that needed to be addressed that was inhibiting them from reaching their goals. She decided to take a look at a more holistic approach to wellness. Kelly obtained her Holistic Health Coaching certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in March 2014 and began coaching clients soon after. She is passionate about helping others reach their health and fitness goals, develop a love for real foods, and make positive changes in their lives.
